CONFERENCE
Applications of Artin Approximation in Singularity Theory
February 2 – 6, 2015
The aim of this conference is to present singularity theory problems involving power series techniques and various instances of approximation techniques. Some of the topics covered are the following:

1) Construction of formal or holomorphic isomorphisms between germs of analytic varieties and spaces

2) Construction of normal forms of automorphisms and vector fields under conjugation, respectively coordinate changes

3) Curve selection lemma; Arc spaces and the Nash conjecture relating it to the essential components of a resolution of singularities

4) Motivic integration and various Zeta-functions

5) Etale neighborhoods and henselian rings

6) Nash manifolds

7) Normalization and Zariski main theorem

8) Algebraicity and finite determination results
