The purpose of the stay at CIRM is to make substantial progress on a two-thirds finished book titled Derived category methods in commutative algebra for which the applicants already have a publishing agreement with Springer-Verlag. The book aims to provide an accessible and coherent introduction to derived category methods and their applications in commutative algebra. The book is intended for graduate students and researchers in commutative algebra and in neighboring fields
